My Kids In the Kitchen
I love having my kids in the kitchen. They are always eager to help and it is a great way to spend time with them! Both kids love to cook and bake. They are learning to be independent and have developed a great appreciation for food.

I was just talking to my mother about my memories of cooking very young. We couldn’t settle on what time it was, but we both remember a time when she and my father instituted a schedule for dinnertime chores: one person would set the table, another clear it, one would wash dishes and the other would dry. My father, big sister, older brother, and me were all on the schedule, and my mom cooked every day.
After a little while, my siblings and I called a family dinner and demanded our fair chance to cook dinner. 🙂
That is funny! I have two younger brothers and we also had the “dinner chore” schedules.
