I have an original George Foreman Grill (15 + years old) which is incredibly difficult to clean because the grates are not removable. I rarely use it unless it is to make paninis, quesadillas or grilled cheese sandwiches. It works great for these – and the clean up is easy.
One of my favorite paninis I make is on fresh bakery bread, with sundried tomato aoli, breaded eggplant, basil, roasted red pepper and fresh mozzeralla cheese.
