Caprese Salad
Tonight I wanted a light dinner. Something tasty, fresh and simple. What is better than simply slicing a red and yellow tomato fresh from the garden and layering it with Mozzarella cheese, basil and balsamic reduction. I sliced a piece of onion board with it. YUM!

I’m completely jealous that you could pull these beautiful tomatoes right from your garden! I’m afraid we didn’t do so well with our tomatoes this year. Your photos are beautiful! I love a fresh caprese salad…one of my favorites. 🙂
Thank you! These particular tomatoes were from my cousins garden! We have a few tomatoes but ours are all small cherry and grape tomatoes this year!
