Tofu is such a versatile food. In salad, stir fry, as a side dish or even as a snack. It is especially amazing hot from the oven when it is crispy on the outside and creamy in the inside.
Ingredients:
- 1 16-ounce container extra-firm tofu
- 2 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 4 oz water or apple juice
- 1 inch of peeled fresh ginger minced
- 2 gloves garlic finely minced
- Sesame seeds: brown and or black
How to
Open tofu and pat dry with paper towels
Cut in to ½ inch slices
Cut each ½ inch slice into triangles
Arrange triangles in baking dish
Whisk together the marinade ingredients and pour over tofu, sprinkle with sesame seeds
Let marinate at least 30 minutes (the longer you marinate the more flavorful it will be)
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
Bake for 40 minutes until brown around the edges. Serve warm or enjoy cold the next day
