October 2011 brought a freaky snow storm to the North East, but that didn’t stop My Angry Bird and Hello Kitty from going Trick or Treating!  The costumes for this year  required me to actually sew (oh..so not fun)  I used a sewing machine for the first time since my 7th grade “home economics” class!  For a first try I think I did ok. The Angry Bird came out pretty decent, but Hello Kitty’s head was very difficult to do.  When we lost power due to the storm I had to resort to hand stitching by candle light (hence the face is a bit distorted) .
